| This
preserve
was
from
the
beginning
managed
to
provide
quality
quail
for
hunting.
Since
1962,
we
have
released
quail
in
fields
in
the
spring
and
summer
to
work
and
develop
our
dogs
as
well
as
out
customers'
dogs.
This
grew
in
the
development
of an
abundance
of
released
quail
and
quail
hatched
naturally
together
in
coveys
on
the
preserve,
which
are
maintained
by
feed
patches
and
feeders
and
lots
of
cover. Do you want to get in some fast quail shooting and see some of the best southern trained dogs at work? Then Cameron's quail preserve is the place to be. The birds are conditioned in the spring and the summer working them with shooting dogs. These birds are superior to those usually found in most shooting preserves because they come up together in coveys and fly faster and faster. Nestled on the banks of the Tenn-Tom Waterway, we offer a comfortable, homelike lodge that is sure to take you away from everyday life. The lodge has nine bedrooms, each having its own private bath. It also includes a large dining area, game room, loft area, and screened in back porch. Fishing is great "right off the back porch"; along with trail riding and clay shooting there is a little something for everyone to do. Other amenities inlcude: trail riding, baseball/hunting camp for kids |
