About
Us
The Alabama Hunting and Fishing Trail was originally chartered as the West
Alabama Hunting and Fishing Trail, a collaborative effort between Alabama Power,
the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, the Convention and Visitors Bureau of
Tuscaloosa, and a host of other businesses, organizations, and private individuals
throughout West Alabama. As The Trail grew, so did the potential impact it could
have on the entire state. After many months of discussion and research The Trail
went statewide with its major focus on promoting the hunting and fishing industry.
The Alabama Hunting and Fishing Trail was established to stimulate a positive
impact on economic development across Alabama as well as to educate individuals
on the quality hunting and fishing opportunities that are available. To assist
in this effort www.alabamahuntingandfishingtrail.com
was created to highlight the available hunting reserves and fishing areas that
Alabama has to offer. It is the hope of the Alabama Hunting and Fishing Trail
to see an increase in the number of individuals enjoying the great hunting and
fishing resources of our state and in turn to see an increase in the expenditure
of recreational dollars associated with hunting and fishing.
As
people become more aware of the great recreational opportunities through the
Alabama Hunting and Fishing Trail, economic development will be motivated and
more individuals will experience the exciting adventures of Alabama.
